Easy Recipes for Kids
Kids love to help out in the kitchen. All recipes on kidsplayandcreate are easy to follow and have a lot of simple jobs kids can do.
Remember cooking is an interactive learning activity. When you let kids help out in the kitchen you are teaching them about the importance of kitchen safety such as not touching the hot stove or sharp utensils, keeping kitchen clean and washing hands to kill germs. Cooking also helps kids with learning to follow directions (following the steps in a recipe). You’ll also help your kids in Math by learning about terms of measurement: cup, teaspoon tablespoon etc. and time. So throw those aprons on and getting cooking with your kids!
