This photo collage flower-pot is a great DYI gift for a loved one. It’s a great way to show off beautiful pictures in a unique and different way. You don’t’ have to use the finished flower-pot as an actual flower-pot, you can also use it as a decorative basket. I really enjoyed making mine. It’s not perfect but it’s those little imperfections that make it special. I used some of my favorite pictures from my daughter’s first year of life. Follow the step-by-step directions below to make your photo collage flower-pot.
Materials: Flower Pot, Mod Podge, Mod Podge brush, Ribbon, Hot Glue, Pictures (It’s better to use pictures printed on regular printer paper instead of photo paper)
Step 1: Print out your pictures, try to arrange them around your flower-pot so you have an idea on where you will place them.
Step 2: Brush the Mod Podge onto the flower-pot.
Step 3: Start placing your pictures onto the flower-pot.
Step 4: Brush Mod Podge over pictures. Please note that the Mod Podge will appear white but it will dry clear.
Step 5: Allow your Mod Podge to dry. Add another coat of Mod Podge if necessary.
Step 6: Once your Mod Podge is dry you can add your ribbon. Brush Mod Podge over the top portion of the flower-pot. Wrap ribbon around the flower-pot and tie into a bow. Cut off the extra ribbon. Instead of using Mod Podge for the ribbon you can use a hot glue gun.
