Delicious S’mores Brownies
Do you love s’mores? Do you love brownies? If so, then this is the recipe for you. These S’mores brownies are gooey and yummy! After a couple of attempts making them, I finally got it down. These brownies were a big hit with my niece, daughter and their friends. It’s a great treat at any birthday or holiday party and BBQ’s. Follow the steps below to make these delicious s’mores brownies.
Ingredients:
2 boxes of brownie mix
1 package of mini marshmallows
1 sleeve of graham crackers
Non stick cooking spray
Brownie Pan 9″ ( glass recommended)
Pre-heat oven to 350
Step 1: Start my making the brownie mix according to the package. Your going to use about 1 and 1/2 boxes of the brownie mix for the recipe. You can use the left over mixture to make small brownies in a cupcake pan.
Step 2: Your going to use the non-stick spray to cover your entire brownie pan. Make sure the bottom and sides are covered.
Step 3: Pour the brownie mixture into the bottom of the pan. Make sure the entire bottom is evenly covered. It should be a little less than 1/2 inch thick at the bottom.
Step 4: Cover your brownie mixture with graham crackers.
Step 5: Cover your graham crackers with a layer of mini marshmallows. During the summer, I saw flat marshmallows in the stores for the purpose of making s’mores. I looked for them when I wanted to try this recipe, however could not find them. If you have them in the stores around by you, you may want to try using them.
Step 6: Using more of your brownie mixture, cover the marshmallows. Make sure you use enough of the batter to cover all the marshmallows evenly. If you have a little brownie mixture left over, you can use it to make little brownies in a cupcake tray.
Step 7: Cook brownies for 50 minutes, depending on your oven. It’s a little difficult to test if they are ready, as you cannot stick anything to test them through the middle because of the graham crackers. This is why I recommend using a glass pan, so you can see the bottom and sides. I did not use one, but if I had to do it again, I would. If you aren’t using a glass pan, you can test them by sticking the toothpick through close to the edge of your pan. Wait until they are completely cool before cutting them.
I highly recommend making these S’mores brownies. They are so delicious, kids love them and parents will be impressed with your baking skills.
